This is a video slideshow of a 5 week backpacking & climbing trip through Ladakh, India (Jammu & Kashmir province). First part of the trip was a trek from Darcha to Padum over 5000m+ passes through the heart of the remote Himalayan kingdom of Zanskar. Next stop was the town of Leh from which we undertook several side trips, e.g. a climb of 6120m Stok Kangri and a ride on a scooter up the world's highest motorable road. Overall an incredible journey through India's unknown 'little Tibet'. |
